Sweet Success for Me?

Yes! With a Slight Correction

Pikes Peak Writers is an organization nearly thirty years old. Since its inception PPW has served writers through education, networking, and promotion. The organization posts a regular author promotional called Sweet Success, highlighting recent publications or events in the lives of member authors.

I love PPW. It’s my author home.

Well, the latest Sweet Success featured me and my quirky novella A Night to Remember, which came out in paperback last month and scored really high in several genre categories on Amazon.com. My thanks to you, my friends and readers.

The PPW post did have a couple errors in it and most likely they were made by me when I filled out the Sweet Success submission form. First, the novella is a thriller, not a mystery. Though, it did rank at #9 in Amazon’s Two-Hour Mystery, Suspense, and Thriller Short Reads.

Second, the ebook is no longer available for free. That promotion ended June 11th. Right now it is priced darn close to free at $2.99 for the download or get a paperback for three dollars more.

While PPW is my goto writers organization, I am a member of others, including the League of Utah Writers. They’re a great bunch and run free ads of member books in their monthly newsletter. I can’t link you to it, as it’s for members only, but I wanted to give LUW a shoutout and a thank you.
