StoriesbyBowen.com has been a thing for nearly five years (yeesh!). In that time those paying attention have surely noticed a lot of changes. From the look and theme of the site to expanding content to more books (yay!) to this here blog, the website has grown and morphed. At times keeping this thing going has been a pain, at times a joy. And now StoriesbyBowen.com is growing again as I offer up a newsletter!
The newsletter will not be available on the website itself, but those of you who subscribe will find it (or a link to it) delivered nice and neat into your email inbox once every three months. Well, three months to start. As content grows or as the need arrises the newsletter will shift to a more frequent distribution.
What’s the big deal about my newsletter? So many newsletters are just a digest of the writer’s blog posts. Not mine. Mine will feature news about my public appearances, workshops, and books signings plus updates on current works in progress. It will also have a promotions calendar, so you will know (when nobody else does) when my books are going on sale and when they are featured in a group promotion. By the way, A Night to Remember is featured in a Crime Reads for Summer promo right now!
Is that all? No, not in the least. My newsletter will feature book recommendations in multiple genres. Each edition will feature something fresh off the presses (less than five years old) and something “older”classic” that I’ve enjoyed reading. You may find other titles featured in there as well. Hey, options are a plus, right? Besides book stuff, I will have sections on what’s going on with me outside writing, maybe share a recipe or two, favorite cocktail, link you to other cool writer friends, etcetera, etcetera.
Okay, yep, so a newsletter. What’s it called? I haven’t got that far, yet. In fact, I’m having so much fun asking you to help name my next novel that I thought I’d do the same with the newsletter. If you have name ideas for either my new book or the newsletter, drop me a note on my Contact page.
